New-fashioned unit with a standard decor. Very clean beds for a good sleep. Free parking, friendly service. An outdoor hot tub and a hot tub where at disposal too.

Comfortable family room and very pleasant and helpful staff. Well located for road travel into Reykjavik and also good road access to open countryside and tourist destinations. Close to local fast food outlets, restaurant and shops.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was situated well to permit trips to the capital and the country.
I had requested that the hotel shuttle pick us up at the airport however it did not arrive and so we rented a car at the airport rather than through Procar. The breakfast was adequate but could be better by including a toaster and more fruit. The toilet smelled bad - I suspect the venting is not working properly.

Nothing
This hotel is in serious need of an update, from the beds, linens, towels to the breakfast buffet. It has the potential to be so much more than what it is. This hotel was the only disappointing aspect of our second trip to Iceland and we will not return.

Clean and comfortable rooms and a reasonable price for the Reykjavik area.
One of us has difficulty walking. While the hotel provided handicap- accessible rooms, they used short steep ramps over the door thresholds of the room and the breakfast area to facilitate the use of wheelchairs, and the ramps were made of smooth metal that was extremely slippery when wet. This made it very hazardous for an ambulatory person who has difficulty walking. We almost skipped going to breakfast because of this problem. We would not recommend this hotel for someone with walking difficulty, but for anyone else it is a good value for the money, which is rare in Iceland.

Helpful staff at reception Helpful staff at the kitchen, gave us a kettle to use in our room
Double bed was actually two single beds pushed against each other. One of the suite rooms that was supposed to have a balcony did not have it, though charges were the same.

Spacious room, clean bathroom, helped us resolve a problem with our reservation without any fuss and we also enjoyed a nice, hot shower.
Everything was spot on.

A great stay for a road trip. A traditional hotel with delicious food. Great and absolutely perfect setting, away from hustle and bustle. Again, walking distance to Lagafellslaug Public Swimming Pool. Wonderful breakfast, lots of meals.

Really helpfull and nice receptionist. Huge room with view to the mountain. Clean. Good bed. Free Wi-Fi in the room. Nice sorroundings at the hotel. Tasteful breakfast! When going to Thingvellir for the day, this is a good place to stay when heading north the next day, because then you avoid the traffic around Reykjavik.
